
Mary Njenga Murimi
Mary Njenga Murimi is the Director of S-Saba Consultants Africa. She is a Certified Organization Development (OD) Consultant and Executive Coach.
Mary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, a Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Nairobi, Master of Science in Organizational Development (OD) from USIU, a Diploma in Corporate Governance from KCA University, a Diploma in Organizational Development from Swiss Association for Applied Psychology, and Practitioners Diploma in Executive Coaching and Systemic team coaching, Hogan Assessment certified provider, Leadership Versatility Index from Academy of Executive Coaches (AoEC) and Career Connections.
With specialized training in sociology, corporate governance, and Transformational Leadership, Mary has over 29 years of work experience in the development sector with competencies in organizational change processes, process facilitation, coaching and mentoring, training, organizational culture change, organization assessments, board development, strategy development, staff assessments and recruitment, partnership development, gender and development, staff appraisals and systemic team coaching and development processes, among others.
Mary has worked with small and growing businesses in Africa and beyond, disadvantaged communities in the African continent, supporting strategic program initiatives, funding processes, and organizational capacity development, developing an in-depth understanding of the structural, systemic, and practical complexities of socioeconomic and political development, the promotion, protection, and realization of human rights and the role of authentic leadership in bringing about change.
Mary now provides coaching, mentoring, and technical and advisory support to individuals and agencies in the profit, not-for-profit, and Governments. This is largely through leadership skills development, coaching individuals and teams among them Government Ministers, Senior Government Officials, C-Suite, Senior and middle-level managers and leaders. She has a passion for strengthening organizational leadership and building an enabling culture, teams, and governance as a prerequisite to building more transparent and accountable organizations to deliver impact.
